England, Nigeria Friendly: I don’t know who to support– Joshua

World boxing Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has announced that he will be at the Wembley Stadium to watch as England lock horns with Nigeria on June 2 in an international friendly.

World boxing Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has announced that he will be at the Wembley Stadium to watch as England lock horns with Nigeria on June 2 in an international friendly.

 

However, Joshua is torn between which team he will be supporting next week Saturday owing to his ties to both countries.  The boxer who holds the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO titles was born in Watford in England but his parents are from Ogun State in Nigeria.

“England vs Nigeria I suppose? Just make sure you get me the easiest access point to whichever side is winning,” responded Joshua when asked for his support.

Recalled that it was at the Wembley Stadium in April 2017, that Joshua defeateed Wladimir Klitschko before 90.000 fans to win the IBF title.
