EPL: Chelsea set to bring Eagles star to Stamford Bridge
Super Eagles and Villarreal star, Samuel Chukwueze, is being linked with a switch to Premier League campaigners Chelsea in the winter transfer window in January.
The UK Telegraph reports that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has a transfer budget of £150m to
splash out in the coming window and is eyeing offensive players.
Chukwueze is believed to be on the list of wingers being targeted by Lampard.
Others include Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Bayer
Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey.

Chukwueze, who has a release clause of €63m, was close to moving to the Premier League in 2017 to play for Arsenal before he opted for Villarreal.
The Eagles winger has netted 11 career goals in 54 appearances for Villarreal’s first team along with five assists.
