EPL: Leicester’s victory over Liverpool was heroic performance – Rodgers

Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, has described his team victory over Liverpool as heroic adding that he was impressed by the players’ resilience and determination.

He told Amazon: “There’s probably not a team more physical in the league than Liverpool so to come through with a clean sheet and in the way we played showed our resilience.

“I am lost for words – it was such a heroic performance in the context of the two games.”

Rodgers added: “Liverpool are so good and they move the ball so fast so you have to block the spaces if you can. Tactically, they were very good in the game.”
