Obi has been on recess since injury forced him out of action this season.

His outing for Trabzonspor was on October 6 in a Super Lig match against Rizespor, but the Midfielder is
nearing a return to action.

aggravation on his Thigh Muscle Strain.

On Thursday, the former Nigeria International, on IG, updated fans on his fitness and possible return to action
for the club.

He has been training, but the UCL Winner believes he  could be back on the pitch soon.

Mikel who is currently with Trabzonspor Club in Turkey left the Super Eagles shortly after Nigeria came third in

According to the midfielder, the first reason was to pave way for younger players and the need to soft-pedal since
he no longer has many years of football ahead of him.

He also expressed confidence in the present players of Super Eagles, noting that the players are not only
talented but determined to excel.
