Expect victory against Niger Republic – Aigbogun

Nigeria’s U-20 National team head coach Paul Aigbogun has promised that his wards will not take chances against the host nation Niger Republic in the final group A encounter billed for Friday in Niamey.

Speaking to Sportinglife.ng in a telephone, the coach said his boys played well in their second group match against the Amajita of South Africa but failed to take chances that came their way.

Aigbogun also revealed that the entire team have carefully studied the match tapes of the host and the players have been instructed on what to do inside the 18-yard box.

He said the focus now is to pick the 3 points and not even a draw to maintain the leadership of the group and pick one of the World Cup tickets.

” l know we are playing against the host and their fans, all we need is outright win not even a draw because in football anything can happen. I know we are topping the group with 4 points while the host and South Africa have 2 points each. The group is still open for any of the two to qualify Fifa U-20 world cup in Poland,” said Aigbogun.
