Gara Gombe Resigns From NFF Reforms Committee

Former Chairman Gombe football Association Ahmed Shuaib Gara Gombe has tendered his letter of resignation from the Reforms Committee inaugurated by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Gombe resigned on Thursday citing various reasons for his decision.

In a letter to the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick whom he thanked for appointing into the committee, Gombe said he doubted the sincerity of the committee’s efforts to sanitise the running of the game.

“I am not fully convinced that the NFF is indeed ready for Reforms.

“”The membership of the committee is populated by people whom l am not convinced are not supposed to be in the committee as their presence will undermine any meaningful in Nigeria Football Administration,” read part of the letter.

The committee which was constituted in December 2018 is yet to swing into action.

He further blamed some members of the committee for his decision.
