Ighalo–I have paid my dues

Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai forward Odion Ighalo has gone ahead to celebrate his efforts with the national team after rediscovering his scoring form.

In June, Ighalo came under fire from fans who blamed him for Nigeria’s exit from the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia but all that has become a thing of the past with fans now singing his praises following Nigeria’s current outing in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ighalo who made his international debut for Nigeria on March 24, 2015, leads the scorers chart with six goals from four matches and with the excitement, he took to Twitter to appreciate his achievements on Thursday.

“I have paid my dues😂😜👌🏾🙏🏾, the China based player posted.

The 29-year-old leads Red Star Belgrade’s and Comoros star forward El Fardou Ben Nabouhane and Knowledge Musona of Anderlecht and Zimbabwe who both have four goals.
