I’ll put some music on and dance on one leg – Pogba

Paul Pogba has provided a fresh update on his injury status after undergoing ankle surgery that is expected to keep him out for four weeks.

The Manchester United star shared a bizarre video on Tuesday following the lengthy operation, in which he mistook his ‘pee pee’ for apple juice, and could not work out whether he was ‘high or sober’.

The Frenchman has since deleted the video, and posted a shorter clip to his social media pages to tell fans how the surgery went.

‘It’s me I’m back. Everything went well,’ he said. ‘I’m really happy. We have to keep the positive energy.

‘You have to keep happy, so I’ll put some music on and dance on one leg obviously… you know me you have to keep the smile. Juan Mata told me always keep the smile, so I will keep the smile.’

Pogba has been restricted to just eight appearances for United this season because of the ongoing injury, with United struggling without their star midfielder in the side.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side suffered a first half pummeling to arch rivals Manchester City in the Carabao Cup semi final on Tuesday night, but pulled a second half goal back to end the first leg 3-1 losers.

The Norwegian is in the market for a midfielder this January transfer window, as he looks to provide cover for the injured Frenchman as well as Scott McTominay.

Long term target Bruno Fernandes is on United’s radar as well as Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks.

Pogba will hope to make a swift return to action and at least salvage something from what has been a challenging campaign for him.
