Injury latest: Lille manager gives update on Osimhen
Lille manager Christophe Galtier has issued an update on the situation of Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen after he was rushed to hospital on Tuesday night.
The Nigerian international was subbed off for Loic Remy in the 23rd minute of Lille’s 3-0 win over Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue tie after complaining of dizziness and was rushed to the Princesse Grace de Monaco Hospital.

Speaking to reporters moments the game, Galtier gave reassuring news about the condition of his top scorer.
“It is more reassuring than what we had at halftime. He had dizziness and chest pain so we were a little scared,” Galtier told Canal + :
“We have just had news and discussed with him: everything is back to normal. He is fine.
“However, I do not know if he will remain under observation here in Monaco or if he will leave with us.
Victor Osimhen was reportedly taken to the hospital after he complained of dizziness and chest pains after he scored Lille’s first goal against Monaco.

“We are waiting for the medical report. I also don’t know if he will be there against Monaco on Saturday,” he summed up.
Osimhen has now netted 12 times from 23 matches across all competitions this season.
