Liverpool considered move for Real Madrid defender Nacho

Liverpool have been eyeing Real Madrid defender Nacho Nacho Fernandez.

According to AS, the 31-year-old was on the Reds’ longlist after seeing Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip ruled out for the season.

Roma and Juventus are also keen on the Spain international.

And Liverpool’s interest may go cold now with Van Dijk and Gomez due back for next season.
