Liverpool are preparing to make a £90million transfer move for Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele, Catalan reports claim.
The Frenchman has been sidelined for the majority of the season following separate hamstring injuries.
But Dembele has still been linked with a switch to the Premier League, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all linked.
But according to Eldesmarque, Jurgen Klopp is preparing to make a move for the 22-year-old to provide competition for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Barca chiefs would demand £90m for the winger, as they look to raise funds to re-sign Neymar from PSG.
At the start of the month Dembele sparked speculation he is eager to join Liverpool after liking a picture of himself wearing a Reds shirt.
A post uploaded by a Liverpool fan account showed the 22-year-old photoshopped wearing the shirt with Trent Alexander-Arnold in the background.
Dembele ‘liked’ the image causing speculation among supporters of the Premier League leaders that he could be on his way to Anfield.

The French international is already walking a thin line at the Nou Camp having had his attitude heavily criticised since his £138m move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
Chelsea were said to have stepped up their interest in the forward after it was report Dembele’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, met with Blues club chiefs.
