Mamelodi Sundown Capture CAF Women’s Champions League

Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa have emerged as the winners of the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League after beating SC De Casablanca women’s team 3-0 in the final on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Refilwe Tholakele opened the scoring in the 21st minute and Boitumelo Rabale 24th minute goal made it 2-0 in favour of the South African club.

Tholakele then scored the 3rd goal in the 78th minute to end the game 3-0 for Sundown Ladies.

In three editions of the Women’s Champions League, Sundowns have won a second title having emerged winners in 2021.

The South Africans also reached the semi-finals in 2022.
