Mikel, Moses fail to make Chelsea Team Of The Decade

Former Nigeria internationals, Mikel Obi and Victor Moses failed to make the Chelsea Team Decade announced on Tuesday.

For Mikel he made the 11-man shortlist for the three midfield positions along with current Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, N’Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas, Ramires, Oscar, Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Michael Essien, Mateo Kovacic and Nemanja Matic.

However it was Essien, Kante and Lampard who were selected by fans of the club.

Eden Hazard now with Real Madrid dusted Victor Moses for the first winger role

Another Nigerian who played for the Blues was Celestine Babayaro between 1997 and 2005 before moving to Newcastle.

The left-back who won three Cups at Chelsea was not nominated since he was not part of that era.
