Mourinho Punishes Valencia for Liking ‘Sack Jose’ Post
Antonio Valencia has been punished by Jose Mourinho for his social media claimed mistake.
Recently, the club’s skipper liked a post on social media calling for Mourinho’s head.
Reports claimed that Mourinho has already punished by Valencia as the coach left the 33-year-old out of the squad for the club’s 3-2 win over Newcastle.
In his absence, Ashley Young was given the nod at right-back. And the England international, who Mourinho counts upon, also gave him the armband.

Valencia is said to be ready to consider his options at January. And, should he go, that could prompt United to take action in the transfer market.
Valencia apologised for the post, recently saying: “Yesterday, I liked a post on Instagram without reading the text that accompanied the picture.
“These are not my views and I apologise for this. I am fully supportive of the manager and my teammates.
“We are all giving our everything to improve the results.”
Valencia has won the Premier League title twice since signing for United from Wigan in 2009.
