Osimhen presents African Player of Year award to Napoli fans

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen presented his 2023 African footballer of the to Napoli fans at the Diego Maradona’s Stadium.

Osimhen along with his partner Stefanie Kim Ladewig posed for pictures just before kick of Napoli’s home game against Cagliari.

The 24-year-old Nigerian striker won the African Player of the Year award on Monday, following his stunning 2022-2023 campaign for the Partenopei.

He scored 26 goals as the Gil Azzurri won the Scudetto for the first time in 32 years.

Also, The ex-Lille man became the first Nigerian to win the award since Kanu Nwankwo in 1999.

Osimhen marked the feat with a goal for Napoli against Sporting Braga in Tuesday’s UEFA champions League game.
