Rodgers regrets Ndidi’s absence, not happy with Leicester defenders
Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, has developed ‘goose pimples’ over the absence of Nigerian Wilfred Ndidi who is currently nursing an injury.
The strategist is particularly not impressed with his defenders after Sunday’s 3-0 loss to West Ham United in the Premier League.
"We just lacked the quality in the final pass to make it count."

The Foxes were also without playmakers Dennis Praet and James Maddison for the clash with the Hammers at the King Power.

But Rodgers was more concerned with some lazy defending from his team.
Rodgers believed that with most his dependable players around, the club would have contested the three points they woefully lost against the Hammers.
“Dennis has started the three games and has been great, we missed his touch and craft between the lines,” said Rodgers. “It’s disappointing for us, with Dennis and James (Maddison) out. You miss quality players.
“But we still had enough of the ball. We just lacked precision and patience in our game.
“And it starts with our defending. We lacked intensity and aggression. When the ball breaks down, our counter-pressing was nowhere near the level, they played out too easily.
“Then there was a lack of precision and quality. We got through their lines a few times in the first half, but we couldn’t get Jamie (Vardy) away. That combination meant it was a disappointing day.”
