Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr sent former Eagles striker Victor Agali to monitor Eagles and SC Paderborn 07 left back Jamilu Collins who played for his club at home to Holstein Kiel in the German 2nd Bundesliga on Thursday night.
The Eagles handler considered Collins as a very important member of the team a reason why he mandated the Eagles Scout Agali who is currently studying a diploma course in Germany to monitor the defender’s performance for him in the match which he did.
Rohr personally monitored the Europa match between Bordeaux and Zenith which ended in a 1-1 draw. “I was very happy with the Kalu’s performance in the match”, the Eagles gaffer disclosed to SportingLife.ng
Speaking about the left back sensation, the Franco-German football tactician revealed, “Collins is okay and not injured, he will play on Friday against Holstein Kiel. Victor Agali is in Germany for his diploma and will watch the match”, Rohr stated.
The Eagles handler however arrived Lagos, Nigeria on Friday night to commence final preparations for the all important 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against to the Bafana Bafana of south Africa in Johannesburg.
