Bologna sports chief Walter Sabatini has slammed AS Roma for their treatment of Ricky Massara.
Sabatini worked with the current AC Milan football chief at Roma.
He recalled on Teleroma56: “Massara? It was a grave mistake to send him away from Roma.
“I know that it has not been confirmed because, when an unreserved firing took place on the figure of Monchi, he tried to defend him.
Of course, Monchi made mistakes, but he also brought (Nicolo) Zaniolo to Roma, in a profitable operation. Ricky in those situations sided with Monchi and for him it was lethal.

“Massara gives me the same satisfaction as (Mohamed) Salah, he has established himself at Liverpool, as did Alisson. Massara is the Salah of the managers. I hope he succeeds.”
