Sadiq Umar to Cyber-bullies: You have no monopoly of insult

Cyber-bullies have been told they have no monopoly of insult and could get it back a dozen fold if they hit a fellow that it is not ready to play the gentleman’s role.

Super Eagles and Real Sociedad forward Sadiq Umar made the submission in reaction to the insults hauled at Alex Iwobi by some fans over the outcome of the just ended 34th AFCON in Ivory Coast.

 Iwobi who has since been appreciated and honoured alongside teammates and officials by the Federal Government, received dozens of insults from some fans who felt he performed below par at the month-long tournament.  Though the insults were directed at Iwobi, most of the players condemned it insisting that an insult to one is an insult to all since football is a team play.

Sadiq Umar hits cyber bullies hard.

In his own reaction Umar who pulled out AFCON due injuries told the bullies if they care to listen that he is not Iwobi and that anyone who chose to heap insult on him will get it back in quantum.

Taking to the social media Umar who is likely to feature for Real Sociedad in tonight’s UEFA Champions League clash against PSG, opined that those who push other people to mental agony through bullying should not expect things to go well with them.

“” I no be Iwobi I go insult person papa with him mama join yes I be dat typical hausa boy abi u see fear for my eyes”.
