Despite restrictions easing around the world, major leagues are still suspended amid the pandemic, which has now affected more than 3, 690,616 people and killed over 255,176, as per the latest statistics on Tuesday.

The Living Room Cup, which was launched in early April, is one of the biggest social media challenges set up by kit manufacturing company Nike to engage athletes.

In the opening week, South Africa’s Caster Semenya earned 176 reps to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo’s 142, along with Nigeria duo of Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie and compatriot Janine Van Wyk in a 45-second ab challenge.

For the third week, it was Nigeria striker Uchenna Kanu who stole the show as she hit 119 reps in the side steps challenge to beat initiator and Manchester City star Leroy Sane’s 100 points in 45 seconds, along with Oshoala and Onome Ebi.

Again, Semenya garnered 178 reps in 45 seconds to overshadow her African rivals, including Van Wyk and Oparanozie, as well as Rita Chikwelu in the blockbusters challenge.
