Supreme Court Ruling: Security relaxed at NFF

Security on Tuesday at the Nigeria Footall Federation (NFF) following the Workers Day public holiday.

On Monday security operatives were drafted to the NFF Secretariat to avert any crisis arising from last Friday’s Supreme Court ruling involving Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa on who should be in charge of the glasshouse.

Only four police officers including a woman were on guard at the federation unlike Monday when 10 Policemen were sighted
patrolling the premises.

Their SUV Patrol Jeep was strategically packed opposite the GlassHouse as the NFF Office is fondly called.

The Police officers were in a relaxed mood, discussing while keeping eyes on what goes in and out of the Glass House which also houses the office of the Federal Road Safety Commission.

An NFF staff who was sighted at the premises actually confirmed that nobody was harassed by the security operatives and that they were there to guide the staff while doing their legitimate duties.

“The Policemen have been very cooperative. They were at the office premises and at the entrance of the Secretariat to ensure
that all is well security wise. They were not many today because of the public holiday”, the NFF staff disclosed to SportingLfe.ng..
