U20 AFCON: Tottenham, Nottingham Forest scouts in Egypt to watch Gambia superkid Adama Bojang

Tottenham and Nottingham Forest are following Gambia’s exciting young striker Adama Bojang at the on-going AFCON U-20 championship in Egypt.

Nicknamed ‘the Gambian Hurricane’, the 6ft 3ins centre forward is quick, brave and direct and has been prolific with his club side Steve Biko FC in Gambia.

Bojang has caught the eye in the U20 African Cup of Nations. He scored a hat-trick in an emphatic 5-0 win against South Sudan in the quarter finals on Friday and all eyes will be on him again as he lines up against Nigeria in the semi finals on Monday.

The Daily Mail says Forest and Spurs are among the Premier League clubs to have made enquiries so far as scouts collate favourable reports on the teenager.

Ajax and French side Marseille have also registered their interest.
