Call it harvest of expectations and births and you will be absolutely right as Manchester City maestro Kevin De Bruyne has announced Friday, that wife Michele is pregnant with their second child.
The 27-year-old was instrumental in his side’s dominant stride to the Premier League title last season, contributing eight goals and 16 assists over the course of the campaign.
Michele is believed to be around three months pregnant, meaning that the new child was conceived around the time that City wrapped up the title.
The Belgian posted a picture of his first son, Mason, on Instagram alongside the caption “Big brother duties” and his wife swiftly followed up with the message “Family of FOUR”.
De Bruyne is expected to rejoin the City squad for training in the next week following his exploits with Belgium at the World Cup.
Many of the stars that were in action at the World cup have returned either to behold the birth of their new babies or about to welcome one in the near future. Super Eagles duo of William Troost-Ekong and Ahmed Musa has both been blessed with sons in the last couple of days. 
Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has equally confirmed on Instagram that the girl friend has given birth to a baby boy.
The 22-year-old has been linked with the exit door at Old Trafford this summer, with the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich all said to be interested in his services.
Earlier this week, Martial left United’s pre-season tour of the US in order to be with partner Melanie Da Cruz for the birth. Da Cruz is believed to have given birth on Thursday night and, taking to social media subsequently, she revealed that the boy has been named ‘Swan Anthony Martial’.
Swan becomes Martial’s second child after he welcomed a daughter with then-wife Samantha Jacquelinet in 2016.
Recall also that England star Fabian Delph Flew home briefly during the world cup to welcome his third child and returned afterwards.
