AFCON CLASH: Bafana Bafana to name squad for Eagles on Monday

South Africa manager, Stuart Baxter is expected to name his final squad for the return leg of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Group E qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles on November 5.

This was confirmed on the team’s official Twitter handle on Saturday.

South Africa are aiming for another historic victory after last year’s 2-0 win against the Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom capital.

Towards this end, Baxter has been calling on fans to turn out en-masse for the decisive clash scheduled for the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on November 17

Whoever wins the match will qualify for next year’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon despite having a game each to spare.

Nigeria leads the group with nine points and only needs a draw or a win to qualify, while South Africa needs victory as they are second with eight points.
