Awoniyi Scores 6th Goal For Mouscron in seven games

Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi scored his sixth goal of the season for Royal Excel Mouscron as they drew 1-1 with Standard Liege in the Belgian league on Friday.

The Liverpool Loanee who was making his seventh appearance for Mouscron this season scored in the 60th minute to level scores.

The former junior international has been in fantastic form since reuniting with Mouscron in January, having previously left for Genk where he failed to shine.

Since staging a comeback, Mouscron  have won six of their seven games with the the 21-year-old scoring six goals and creating 2 assists.
