Coach Paul Aigbogun has said he would focus on the positives from Enyimba’s CAF Confederation Cup match against Bidvest Wits played in Calabar on Wednesday, having played a 1-1 draw in South Africa earlier.

Enyimba FC secured qualification to the group stage of the competition, going through on away goal advantage from the 1 -1 first leg result.

Aigbogun who is also the head coach of the national U-20 team while speaking with SportingLife.ng after the game at the U.J Esuene stadium said he was satisfied with the outcome of the second leg and the club’s progress in the competition.”

I am highly elated with the feat achieved by my boys; we expected a tough game because Bidvest Wits is a strong side and no push over, the boys would have loved to score, but the most important thing is the qualification to the next round”.

The gaffer promised that the Aba elephants will keep improving as the season progresses;”the team would keep improving in all areas, I and the coaching staff would look at the positions that need strengthening and work on them” he added.
