Emery to drop Ozil for Iwobi for United clash

Arsenal Manager, Unai Emery will start Nigeria international Alex Iwobi ahead of Mesut Ozil  for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Ozil played 70 minutes of the European clash in France against Rennes, but has only started 14 Premier League matches for the Gunners this season.

Emery is of the opinion that the playmaker is not capable of carrying out his game plan against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

Ozil has been strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, despite the fact that he only signed a new £350,000-a-week contract with the London club last year.

United stunned Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday, but Arsenal suffered a 3-1 loss at Rennes in the Europa League one day later with Iwobi scoring the Gunners only goal.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table, one point off fourth-placed United, who have been in stunning form since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as head coach in December.
