Super Eagles’ hard-working right back Chidozie Awaziem is suspended for today’s Africa Cup of Nations’ (AFCON) third-place match between the Super Eagles and Tunisia holding in Egypt.
Awaziem who has been impressive in the right-back of the Super Eagles despite being played
out of position won’t be involved in the Eagles’ battle against Tunisia for the 2019 AFCON bronze medal prize.
Awaziem who was among the sick players that had flu as a result of cold weather in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria did not play for the Eagles in the group stage of the 2019 AFCON where Ola Aina featured.
He only came back to the Eagles fold in the knockout rounds featuring in the round of 16, quarterfinals and the semifinals. He is now suspended as a result of card offenses.

“(Chidozie) Awaziem is suspended for the match against Tunisia as a result of card offenses. We will surely miss him but the good thing is that we capable replacement for him”, Rohr told SportingLife.ng.
