Rohr drills Eagles in shooting practice

The Super Eagles ended their 8-day closed camp at the Avita Resort in Austria Monday with much
emphasis on shooting.

After breakfast at 8 am local time, all the 23 players and their officials embarked on the usual short
walk to the training pitch.

With the realisation that team just scored two goals in three matches, coach Gernot Rohr went down to
drill all the players after a light workout.

The three goalkeepers in camp Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi took their turns to
receive shots as Rohr drilled the players in a shooting practice that lasted for almost an hour.

The team later played a practice match using half of the pitch to round off the session.

After having their lunch, the squad left for the Vienna international airport where they boarded a
charted flight to Russia at 3pm local time.
