Say No to drugs, Musa tells Nigerians

Super Eagles and Al Nasr forward, Ahmed Musa, has added his voice to the end of drug abuse in Nigeria.

Musa who has had a memorable year which started with the FIFA World Cup and his lucrative move to Al Nasr in Saudi Arabia took to Twitter on Monday to campaign against the social malaise which has claimed millions of lives.

Disturbed by the growing menace which has continued to ruin the lives of youths, Musa was seen in a video sensitizing three youths who were speaking hausa, a local dialect from the Northern part of Nigeria.

“Let’s fight this together and say no to drugs,” he tweeted.

This year there was a report of how three million bottles of cough syrup was consumed on a daily basis in two northern states in Nigeria.

This led to the federal government banning the importation and manufacture of the product.

Musa has scored five goals in 14 league appearances for Al Nasr who are second in the Saudi Professional League log.
