Super Eagles vice captain leads seven others to camp Tuesday

Udinese of Italy defender, William Troost-Ekong would report for national duty on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Squirrels of Benin Republic.

Ekong is expected to arrive at the team’s Le Meridien camp in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom capital in the morning.

Seven more players are also expected to hit camp on Tuesday morning.

They are Ifeanyi Anaemena , Abdullahi Shehu, Mikel Agu, Joe Aribo, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Paul Onuachu and Emmanuel Dennis.

14 players are presently in camp and had their first session within the premises of the hotel on Monday.

They will have a feel of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, venue of the match on Tuesday evening.  Kick off time is 5 pm.

Players In Camp: Ahmed Musa, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Daniel Akpeyi, Maduka Okoye, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Olaoluwa Aina, Jamilu Collins , Semi Ajayi, Alex Iwobi, Ramon Azeez, Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Kalu and Victor Osimhen.
