Tale: We never doubted ourselves despite Senegal loss

Supersand Eagles skipper, Victor Tale has revealed that they never doubted they would bounce back after they were narrowly beaten by Senegal on penalties in their first game of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The Nigerians held the Senegalese to a 4-4 draw at the end of the regulation time plus extra time before succumbing to the Teranga Lions who are the reigning champions of the competition.
The Beach Eagles did bounce back in their second game against Libya whom they pummeled 6-3 with Emeka Ogbonna (2), Abu Azeez (2) and a each from Emmanuel Ohwoferia and Suleiman Mohammed scoring for the Nigerians and Tale who was not dressed for the encounter disclosed that they have recovered from their initial setback.

Tale who is recovering from a foot injury he sustained before their departure to Egypt hinted that he has fully recovered from the injury that prevented him from playing in the opening two games and that he is ready for the Tanzanians who have already been beaten twice in their debut campaign in Egypt.
“We tried our best against Senegal and could have won had it been we were lucky. We gave a good account of ourselves,” Tale told SportingLife.
“It was the reason why we went all out against Libya and we got the deserve win we bargained for. We shall go into the third game against Tanzania aware that only a win will take us to the next round.
” I am very fine now and have fully recovered from the knock I had. I am hoping to contribute my quota against Tanzania if I am selected by the coaches.”
