WCQ: Don’t dwell on Lesotho, but focus on Zimbabwe – Iwobi
Alex Iwobi insists Nigeria’s Super Eagles squad members must not dwell on their 1-1 draw against Lesotho in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier opener in Uyo.
The three-time African champions were made to rue missed numerous goalscoring chances against their less fancied opponent on Thusday evening.
Despite Jose Peseiro’s side extending their unbeaten streak to six games, but feel short of a better result from the encounter.

Iwobi caution that Super Eagles squad members should now turn focus on the game against Zimbabwe.
