FIFA U-17 World Cup: Eaglets draw Hungary, Ecuador, Australia

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have been drawn in Group B against Hungary, Australia, and Ecuador after the draws were conducted at the headquarters of the Federation of International Football (FIFA) in Switzerland on Thursday afternoon.

The five-time champions are making their return to the cadet championship after missing the last edition two years ago in India.

Nigeria qualified as one of the four finalists at the Africa qualifiers in Tanzania this year.

Africa champions, Cameroon are in group E alongside Argentina, Spain, and Tajikistan while Angola will trade tackles with the hosts Brazil, Canada, and New Zealand.

Senegal is in group D with the USA, Japan, and the Netherlands.

The competition kicks off from 26th of October to November 17th, 2019.
