Real Madrid players get brand new Audi car for Christmas

Real Madrid players were gifted a brand new Audi for Christmas by the club’s sponsor this week.

Audi allowed players and staff to select the model and colour of their choice ahead of tomorrow’s El Clasico.

It’s a yearly occurrence with the German manufacturer and it’s always interesting to see which model each player opts for.

The players get to use the cars for the remainder of the season before returning them.

And for the second year in a row, captain Sergio Ramos opted for the most expensive model – and he was the only player to do so.

Interestingly, manager Zinedine Zidane chose the least expensive, along with Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois.

Zidane will be hoping his players forget all about Audi’s little gift ahead of Wednesday’s El Clasico.

The two rivals will go into the game at the Camp Nou level on points at the top of La Liga and the result could have a massive impact on the outcome of the trophy come the end of the season.
